Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here sharing a new summer layout using Paige's Crafted Moments collection and her Ocean Wreath cut file.
To begin, I cut the Ocean Wreath from white cardstock and decided to color it rather than back it with patterned paper. Using soft shades of aqua, pink, yellow, and lavender, creating a watercolor effect that perfectly complemented the tropical feel of my photo. Next, I added soft blue mixed media behind the wreath to mimic the colors of the ocean and help draw attention to the center of the page. I then layered my photo on patterned papers from Crafted Moments and tissue paper to create a focal point. Once the photo was in place, I began embellishing around it with Floral Die Cuts, fussy cut flowers from One Good Thing Paper, and placed a Chipboard Sticker over a seashell. The butterfly at the top of the layout helps anchor the composition while adding movement and whimsy. For the title, I chose “Vitamin Sea,” phrase, using pink Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers that perfectly captures the feeling of this special vacation memory. For my journaling, I tucked a tag Ephemera Die Cut behind the top of my photo. Finally, I finished the layout with Enamel Shapes for a touch of sparkle and texture.
