Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here sharing one of my favorite projects I’ve made with the beautiful Crafted Moments collection: a handmade recipe book filled with pretty details and lots of room to preserve favorite family recipes!
I started by covering my 5x6” recipe book with one of the gorgeous floral papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. For the cover, I created a shaker window featuring the adorable jam jar icon from the Puffy Stickers. I filled it with sequins for a little sparkle and topped it with a frame from the Chipboard Stickers. I added the word "RECIPES" with the navy Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers. Inside, I wanted every section to feel organized while still showcasing the beautiful papers so I created divider pages for different recipe categories and added tabs so it’s easy to find each section.
One of my favorite details is the vellum divider. I scanned and printed the One Good Thing Paper onto vellum, creating a soft, delicate page that adds texture.
To make the recipe pages extra special, I designed my own recipe card template in Canva. I used Enjoy the Pause Paper as the background and added spaces for the recipe title, prep time, cook time, ingredients, and directions. I love being able to personalize my projects and creating custom recipe pages made this album feel even more unique.
Throughout the book I decorated the pages with Ephemera Die Cuts, Floral Die Cuts, and fussy cut fruit and cookies from Enjoy the Pause Paper and Inner Glow Paper, while leaving plenty of space to add photos of finished dishes and handwritten family memories. I wanted this book to be more than just recipes, it will become a collection of stories, traditions, and moments shared around the table!
