The One with "Bye Amnmny Taaaan"

Where do I even begin to describe the awesomeness that is Amy Tan? Besides being a scrapbooking celebrity with her own product lines, she also designs embroidered clothing sold in chic boutiques, she has a book published with Northridge Publishing, an adorable handbag (which I of course scooped one up!), and she teaches scrapbooking classes across the world - literally. As I write this she's in Barcelona Spain doing what she does best! She's the ultimate definition of living the dream life and I'm so glad I got to see a glimpse of this lifestyle these past 4 years working at events such as Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, and baby showers. I want to do a wrap-up post of all the events I've worked at, but I still have one final Bar Mitzvah to work at tonight so stay tuned!
Anyway, after checking out the Venice Canals on Wednesday, we met Amy and her cousin Cindy at Lemonade on Abbot Kinney for lunch.
We always get the pot roast sandwich with mac'n'cheese inside. Trust me, it's even more delicious than it looks and sounds!
Fox didn't want any of the food we brought for him, but Amy was a sweetheart and shared her mac'n'cheese and coos coos with him. Who knew he liked coos coos? Amy has always been so nice and kind and sweet and and loving to my kids. It's one of her best qualities, her mothering nature - she'll be a great mom come September!
After lunch we had to take pictures, naturally.
I couldn't narrow them down anymore so I just made a quick GIF with all the adorable pictures of Amy and Jane hamming it up.

Some family shots.
Me'n'Amy
As we were parting ways Fox said, "Bye Amnymny Taaaan!" So cute. He really does love her.
I know I'm being a bit dramatic saying I'll never seem Amy again, because we'll definitely be back to California SOME DAY (that dreaded phrase!), so until then, thanks for letting me a part of all that is "Amy Tangerine"! Thinking of you and your upcoming bundle of joy and wishing you the best with all your travels and thanks for all the opportunities you've provided me and helped me get to explore and experience LA in ways I never dreamed possible!
