October 2022 Mini Album by Paige Evans

 Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love documenting all of our spooktacular traditions in a 4x4 mini album, known affectionately as an October Occasionally or October not-so-daily, because I don't document something every day, just our Halloween-themed activities which happen occasionally, not daily, throughout the month of October :)

I saved the process for making my 2021 album in an Instagram Highlight and since I made that one just a few weeks ago, they are very similar in style and how I created them :)

For this album I used my current pink faux leather WeR Memory Keepers 4x4 album. Initially I was planning to make it in "pasteloween" colors but I quickly realized I couldn't limit myself like that haha.

I currently have 8 styles of 4x4 mini albums available in a collaboration with WeR Memory Keepers which you can find at scrapbook.com.

I have the supplies already to teach how to make a 4x4 Halloween-themed mini album class next year so stay tuned, I'll release the details next summer!

The cute skeleton ballerina is from JoAnn, the beaded charm is from Emily Inspired Designs, and the batty tassel is from Shara Crane. To attach the charms I simply clipped them onto the crook of the spine.

Throughout this album I've added several cut files from my 20 Halloween Cut Files 2021.

Immediately after I finished my October 2021 Mini Album I got started working on 2022 by hand stitching a few foundation pages, including the intro page. All the papers I stitched are from the Die Cuts with a View paper pads from this year.

The supplies throughout this album are a mishmash of probably two dozen collections (if not more!). I've been gathering Halloween goodies since I can remember and always add a new line or two (or three!) come October. This year I added the Die Cuts with a View paper pads and two bewitchingly cute collections from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Same with my 2021 album, I used the Tab Cut File to add patterned paper tabs to the edges throughout.

One difference for this album is on almost every page I stitched on ribbon trim. I super love the texture and interest this adds to the edges!

I also made more custom page turners and dangly charms.

And once again I made tags for journaling to go in between photos.
