Am I the last person to know that Michael Crichton passed away? I didn't know until today that he died of lung cancer at the not too old age of 66 this past Tuesday. He wrote some great books in his lifetime, two of which were made into some of my favorite movies: Jurassic Park and The Lost World.
This is my small tribute to him and his many accomplishments in his all too short life.

NOW you like Jurassic Park. But when we saw it in the movie theater (you were 8), we spent most of the time in the lobby because you were so terrified. I'm glad we didn't scar you for life.
