It's a Small World Afterall Layout by Paige Evans

I was looking through all the Bungalow Lane papers in search of inspiration for a new layout when I came upon Paper 13 with all of the colorful geometric designs. It struck me how much this paper reminded me of It's a Small World - and thus a layout idea was born!

I started by die cutting my Small World cut file from smooth white cardstock. I then spent a couple hours backing the cut file with pieces of Paper 13 as well as the same paper found in the 6x8 Paper Pad. I have a video tutorial showing a few different ways to back a cut file on my YouTube channel HERE.
With the cut file backed and a trio of photos from the ride printed at 4x3" and trimmed leaving a white border for contrast, I then went through the Bungalow Lane papers once again to find a background. I chose the dark blue B-side of Paper 10 to really help the cut file POP!
While I was figuring out the placement of the cut file and photos, my Cameo was die cutting my Clouds Background cut file from vellum. I carefully peeled the clouds off the sticky mat (it tore all over the place, but oh wells - my new slogan is "perfectly imperfect!") and pieced together the clouds across the top third of the background.
Across the bottom I layered a strip of the blue floral B-side of Paper 4, followed by a strip of the same but multi-patterned front-side of Paper 4, topped with the barcode strip of stars from the paper I used as the background, Paper 10. I attached the cut file above with foam squares for dimension and the created the title with mini Thickers from my super old Whimsical collection. These Thickers can still be found online at JoAnn HERE.
I did minimal embellishing since the background was so busy - I added some gold star Cardstock Stickers between the clouds and added a trio of round heart Foam Stickers across the cut file. I added a couple sentiment stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book as well as a label on which I stamped the date and I finished by writing journaling inside a section of the cut file.
I hope you are inspired to use Bungalow Lane to document your Disney memories!
