Bookshelf Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Wednesday, March 2, 2022

Hi everyone! Audrey Mutschall here with a new Design Team layout featuring Paige's Cut Files. This layout was inspired by the adorable teacups on Paper 6 of Bungalow Lane. I wanted to use them in a fun way and had the idea to display them in a "cabinet".

I cut Paige's Books Floral Cut File from white cardstock and cut it apart so I could use the books on two separate shelves. I backed them with papers from Bungalow Lane and added some fussy cut tea cups that look like they are hanging from hooks in the cabinet. I also used Paige's Flower Vase Cut File which I re-sized to fit on the shelf. I backed the vase with vellum and added some fussy-cut flowers from Paper 7 behind it. I used a Foam Phrase Sticker for my title as well as a few fussy cut leaves for embellishments. To complete the layout I framed a wedding photo from my cousin's wedding this fall; she had a Victorian-themed wedding in a quaint little town and I thought this photo was perfect for the theme of my page.
