Boy Cut File 6 of 30: Backpack

The 6th of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are two layouts created with today's Backpack Cut File!

For my page today I used the Late Afternoon collection by Amy Tangerine! I backed one of the larger sections of the Backpack Cut File with two photos of Fox instead of patterned paper. Sometimes it's fun to integrate photos right into the design!

Design Team Member Kelly Daye created this amazingly textured layout! She says, "When we travel Jim is always our 'Backpack Manager’ because I'd surely leave it at the first stop, ha! My backpack would be super pretty and colorful! Like this one I've stitched together using today’s cut file along with Go the Scenic Route and DMC embroidery floss. I used all 6 strands and a combination of a chain stitch and backstitch. The backpack was cut out of blue Paper 9 then paper backed with bright orange Paper 7. The pockets were fashioned from both the A and B side of Paper 13. What a fabulous color combo! I used the Go the Scenic Route Digital Collection to print Paper 4 with all the travel icons to fussy cut the banner of pretty things beneath the backpack. The tiny butterflies floating around my layout were fussy cut from a sheet in the 6x8 Paper Pad. I used a sheet from a Vicki Boutin paper pad from my stash as the background which has fun gold foiled splatters!"
