Boy Cut File 24 of 30: Circuit Board Frame

Sunday, April 24, 2022

The 24th of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are two layouts created with today's Circuit Board Frame Cut File!

For this page I used the stitching option of the Circuit Board Frame Cut File and cut the holes through a cream cardstock background. I chose 16 colors of thread and backstitched through the design. I'd say it took about 8 hours to stitch and I brought it with me when we flew to Seattle for Spring Break to work on during the flights and down time! I added a photo of Fox at the Minecraft office in the center and then embellished very minimally with coordinating colors of enamel dots. I wrote journaling with a blue pen on the top left corner and stamped the date below!

Design Team Member Jennifer Rambert created this stunning layout! She says, "I used the Circuit Board Frame Cut File and the Go the Scenic Route collection to make this page! I cut the design from white cardstock then coated it with clear gesso to add orange and blue Distress Oxides inks and create a colorful background. I wanted intense colors to bring out the cut file that I then glue on this area but I only glued the center of the cut file so that the rest can lift and create movement. I added my photo to the center of my page after adding pieces of blue/yellow patterned papers from the collection and orange tickets. I finished by adding the title 'Connected Generation' made with Puffy Word Stickers. To finish I splashed white acrylic paint everywhere to harmonize everything. I hope this page has inspired you in some way today!"
