My Tweetie Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Tuesday, March 12, 2024

Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige’s Birdhouse from the 20 Spring Cut Files and her gorgeous Blooming Wild collection.
I cut the Birdhouse from white cardstock and backed it with various patterned papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad. With the backing complete I embellished the birdhouse with a heart-shaped Die Cut, a Chipboard Sticker, and leaves from the Floral Die Cuts. I wanted to add a little extra dimension to the floral clusters on the design, so I used Paige’s Rolled Flower cut file to make pretty little flowers with purple plaid Paper 1, pink floral Paper 10, and yellow Paper 20. If you’ve never made rolled flowers before, you must give them a try! They are super fun and once you start making them you won’t want to stop! Paige’s Rolled Flower Cut Files make them really easy to do. My background is white cardstock that I very lightly tinted with inks in shades of blue, pink, and yellow. My photo is mounted onto a pretty yellow paper from the set of Boxed Cards and I’ve added some sentiments from the Sticker Book at the top, along with a title using some of the letters from the Puffy Phrase Stickers. Lastly, I’ve anchored the birdhouse by placing another Die Cut along the bottom and sprinkled fussy cut butterflies and tiny flowers from Paper 16 around the page.
I hope this inspires you to check out Paige’s bundle of 20 Spring Cut Files and the beautiful Blooming Wild collection!
