We went to Disneyland for Fall Break 2025!
We had an early morning flight out of DIA to Santa Ana
Me and my spooky sis!
Getting ready to land in sunny southern California!
We tried a new hotel this time and the room had a great view of California Adventure.
Our new hotel was Pixar Place. It was the last of the Disneyland hotels that we hadn't stayed at before. There was a lot of cute Pixar theming throughout the hotel.
The best time at Disneyland: Halloween!
Originally, we didn't have park tickets for our arrival day, but as we were in Denver waiting to depart, we realized we would have almost a whole day with nothing to do so we got park tickets at the airport. Glad we did!
I love this sign!
A sight for sore eyes. Disneyland feels like a home away from home.
While it was still full swing Halloween-time, they were getting the castle ready for Christmas.
Over the past several months, Chris had been cataloging treats and food he wanted to try from Instagram reels he saw. How can you resist treats that are this cute?
Look at these amazing caramel apples!
Cake pops.
Just a few of the treats he had earmarked: cherry cobbler funnel cake fries, fresh baked pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting dip, and a peach Dole whip sundae with caramel and streusel crumbles.
We really didn't have a plan going into this first day, so everything felt like a bonus. We just enjoyed the ambiance (and treats!) and hopped on rides that didn't have very long lines.
Soaking in the beauty.
Family selfie on the monorail!
As we were walking into the line to ride Jungle Cruise, our friends the Bybees spotted us! It was so fun to catch up with them in line. We used to go to Disneyland with them all the time back when we lived in Los Angeles.
Just like old times (except our kids are all teenagers now!)
Fun ride pictures on one of my favorite rides.
The first time the kids tried to get me to ride Guardians (what used to be the Tower of Terror) I bailed. Looks like they had fun!
After a fun first day in the park we ordered one of our old California favorites: El Pollo Loco. Still so good.
Our nighttime view of DCA.
The next morning we woke up bright and early to rope drop Disneyland.
After breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel, we headed through Downtown Disney to the park.
Fun decor along the walk.
Early mornings at Disneyland are the best.

Haunted Mansion has the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay during Halloween and it is always so fun.
Our happy place!

After a morning full of fun, we had an early lunch at Blue Bayou!
Waterside table or bust!
Yahtzee! We had a great table right on the water. It's so fun to sit and watch the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean float by as you eat.

The Monte Cristo sandwhich is so good!
But the ambiance is really the star of the show.
I think they had fun.
My favorite restaurant at any Disney park.
Over in DCA at Luigi's Honking Haul-o-ween they had these really cool tire pumpkins. So creative.
The song from this ride has been stuck in our heads for two years, since our last trip to Disneyland at Halloween in 2023. There are about six different songs that play during this ride and when Fox and I got on, we got Honkin' Haul-o-ween!
In front of Radiator Springs Racers.
The photographers have you do funny poses.
:)
Another one of our treats: a Boo-berry shake at Smokejumpers in DCA.
Me and my man. We're OG Disney people. We even went on our honeymoon to Disney World.
Me and my sweet boy.
When we say Chris went to dental school in California, this is what we mean.
Poor Jane got covered up by the man in front of her.
We lost someone!
The 2nd morning we were ready to take on the day early again!
I just love the decorations.
We decided to wait in line for several of the Disney photographers and I'm glad we did.
Happy Halloween from Disneyland!
More fun pictures.
I love our little family.
It was early entry for hotel guests today, so lined up with the others and got ready to take on Fantasyland.
Sunrise on the castle.
The Fantasyland rides at Disneyland don't have Lightning Lanes, so we ride those during the early entry time. Our first stop was Peter Pan's Flight and then we rode the other ones there like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Pinnochio, and Snow White.
We found another Disney photographer back in Galaxy's Edge and stopped to get some shots.
We're not the biggest Star Wars fans, but the land is really cool and detailed.

I sat out our second ride on Tiana's so I waited to watch Chris and the kids take the plunge.
That's mean in the back behind Chris in the photo on the left. It's scary!
Overlooking the park from the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse.
Details near the Matterhorn.
It was great weather. Warmer than I expected.

Spooky!
Our two little noobs.
Fox used to love Buzz. We threw him a Buzz-themed birthday party when he turned 2.
Chris had gone to get us some lunch, so I took the kids on Buzz by myself and they let me ride with the kids so I wouldn't have to be in a car alone. Yay!
Yet another treat from Chris' list: a giant raspberry macaron.
After the morning at Disneyland, we park hopped over to DCA. The kids love the Incredicoaster.
They wore me down and we all rode Guardians together. Rock on!
They're cute.
Another great trip to Disneyland.
Counting down the days until we go to Disney World in December!
