Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here sharing a new Halloween layout made with Paige’s Tricks & Treats collection and a couple of her cut files: Uppercase Alphabet for Stitching and Spiderweb from the 13 Halloween Cut Files Bundle.
For the base I used the orange side of Paper 9 and layered the cream ghosts side of Paper 6 on top. To bring in that spooky feel, I added a Spiderweb cut from black cardstock and on top of the cut file I added stretchy spider webs to give it a realistic touch that really sets the scene. For the title I used the Uppercase Alphabet for Stitching to cut the letters SPOOKY VIBES from different patterned papers and hand stitched around them. I used Ephemera Die Cuts and Floral Die Cuts to frame my photo along with a tag from Paper 2 tucked in behind for hidden journaling. The layout is centered around a photo of my daughter - she had the coolest spooky zipper makeup and I wanted all the elements to enhance her amazing look. I added rhinestones inside the bubbling cauldron - now it looks like sparkly magic potion! This project was so much fun to create and I love how all the little details came together to highlight the Halloween theme! I hope this layout inspires you to try stitching, add sparkly details like rhinestones, or play with cut files - these are such fun ways to capture spooky moments while keeping them colorful and creative!
