This is a bonus layout I made for Tricks & Treats Weekend using my Tricks & Treats collection and Pumpkin Frame Cut File!
Pool water in a frame shape around a smooth white cardstock background then drop watercolors in to create a mixed media background. Set the cardstock aside to dry which could take a few hours. TIP: To achieve this particular look of pooled watercolors it’s essential to let the background air dry instead of using a heat tool or hair dryer. Cut the Pumpkin Frame from smooth black cardstock then back it with Tricks & Treats paper scraps. Place a foam square on the back of each pumpkin and press the frame onto the dried background. Adhere four 3x4” photos in the middle - use a ruler to measure at 6” then place two photos to the left with the top one tucked up into the top part of the frame and the other photo below, and two more photos on the right with the bottom photo tucked into the bottom part of the frame and the last photo above. Place a black "SWEET," orange ampersand, and black "SPOOKY" from the puffy phrase stickers over seams between photos across the middle as shown. From the 12x12 foam stickers add a cream skull and crossbones at the top, a black moth on the left, a candy corn at the bottom, and a floral pennant on the bottom right.
Trim two pieces of a purple ric rac border cardstock sticker and tuck one piece under the top right photo and the other under the bottom left photo to create scallops. Add a gray tombstone cardstock sticker at the top. From the mini puffy stickers add a tiny purple star on the left, a black bat at the top, a tiny pink star on the right, and a black cat by a subtitle made with mini foam Thickers at the bottom. From the floral die cuts add a silver elixir bottle on the bottom left and from the floral die cuts add an orange ticket (perfect for pictures from a theme park!) with foam squares on the left. Fussy cut an orange pumpkin from Paper 11 and add it at the top. Fussy cut a black “witch’s brew” bottle from Paper 5 and add it with foam squares at the bottom. Use my Halloween Roller Stamp to stamp stars with black ink at the top, right, bottom, and left. Sprinkle colorful enamel dots around the embellishment clusters. Trim small glue dots into quarters and use the pieces to attach sequins around the page for a final bit of shine. To finish, draw lines with a black pen on the right and left sides and write journaling.
