Arts Days Layout by Lady Nany

Sunday, June 30, 2019

Hello creative friends, it's Lady Nany, remembering that it's been a year since my first post here (incredible right?) and since then my life has changed in many ways. I try to live every moment with creativity - at least once a day - and I advise you to try it because you will be happier. Today's project has a lot of what makes me happy: flowers, colors, a cut file from Paige Evans, the Horizon collection, and rose gold foil!
This layout starts with a blank page and a lot of desire to stain my hands, so I took a white cardstock and applied gesso. I used Paper 03 as a reference to mix watercolors and follow the approximate colors of pink, red, orange, green, and blue to generate a background of color.

I prepared the Foil Quill while editing the Flower Corner cut file, making an internal displacement of 0.090mm. After applying the rose gold foil, I cut the file with a Silhouette Cameo. Finally, I cut the design in white cardstock and I superimposed both pieces before gluing with foam tape. I colored and splashed some parts with the same background tones and placed the photo on the lower right edge.

I used Ephemera Die CutsFloral Die Cuts, and Stickers to decorate, some with volume because I love the shadows they create. I added thread under three elements forming a visual triangle on the page and stamped the date on a cut of Paper 08. For the title I used the alphabet included in the Project Pad, I drew some lines in black, and wrote the journaling. And in this fun way, using a cut file to draw with Foil Quill and watercolors, another page from 2019 has been made!

I hope you liked this idea and you can add a little color and gold to your memories. It has been a pleasure for me to move "to the other side of the world" and share my experiences as a design team member of Paige Evans + Silhouette, this will not be the last time you will know about me, sweethearts!

Moving by Here Layout by Cristina Sales

Saturday, June 29, 2019

Hi friends, Cristina Sales here, today is time to reveal my last page as a member of Paige's cut file design team. I used the wonderful Paper 09 from the Horizon collection as my background and featured a Flower Bunch cut file.
This ombre colored effect is really wonderful and I really love the pink shades in the pattern. For the effect that I wanted to achieve I considered it suitable to emphasize the chosen floral cut file, I chose a Flower Bunch cut file by Paige and I cut it using my Silhouette Cameo on a white cardstock and I added it to my hot pink sheet using foam adhesive tape to create a 3D effect.

This kind of cut file with a floral theme are my favorite. I think they are so versatile to use in many different ways. I wanted to dedicate this page to my aunt's cat because she is temporarily absent from home and I'm taking care of him. Since he was sick, I treated him at his home, but now that he's ok, I will move him to my home, hoping he will get along with my cats. So I hope the move won't be too traumatic for him.

To create my composition all around the picture I added some Ephemera Die Cuts & Floral Die Cuts and title is made by the Whimsical Foam Mini Thickers. A tiny, cute, round Charm adds a metal touch to my page.

Thanks a lot for stopping by and see you lovely friends!

Adventure in Punta Del Este Layout by Stefanie Ried

Friday, June 28, 2019

Hello and welcome to a layout from me, Stefanie Ried! I love the Epoxy Stickers from the Horizon collection. They are perfect for sun, summer, and holidays.
First I created the background on white cardstock with watercolors. After drying, colored strings were used. First I punched holes with a piercer and then the strings were threaded through the paper to match the color of the background.

After that I decorated the layout with different Stickers and motifs. For the subtitle I used the Foam Mini Thickers from Whimsical and to frame the layout I used Paper 24.

Thanks for stopping by!

Awesome Layout by Kim Jeffress

Thursday, June 27, 2019

Welcome back to the blog! It's Kim Jeffress and I am sharing my last project today as a member of Paige's Silhouette Design Team. I am aptly sharing a layout titled "Awesome" as it has been an awesome time to be sharing my layouts here on the blog.

Let me share how this layout came together. The main highlight of my layout is the Awesome cut file which I cut with white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo and then backed with the solid colored papers from the Horizon Project Pad. I placed the backed cut file on an angle over another piece of white cardstock and two layers of patterned paper including that striped Paper 05 from the Whimsical collection.

I then added Stickers and Ephemera Die Cuts from the Horizon collection in and around the title, adhering some of them with pop dots for extra dimension. I love the texture and pops of color they create.

I added my title using the Foam Mini Thickers from the Whimsical collection to complete my layout.
I love that this story of my family is recorded forever in my scrapbooks.
