Autumn Rainbow Layout by Phil Donahue

Wednesday, October 15, 2025

Happy fall friends! Phil Donahue here happy to be back on Paige's blog with my first layout using her Legendary collection with Pinkfresh Studio! This layout uses a bunch of papers and embellishments from the collection to make a super fun autumnal page.
Once I saw the Life in Progress striped paper I instantly thought to myself 'Autumn Rainbow' and I knew I had to showcase it along with a fall photo. I cut a 4" strip from that paper and added Fabric Borders to the right side then adhered the element to the left side of the the 12x12 yellow side of Creative Energy paper using adhesive foam squares for dimension. I added my photo to the center of the striped element and die cut a rainbow of tone-on-tone leaves from papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad to cascade up and down the page. I love how the 6x8 papers scale down patterns which show better on intricate die cuts and, of course, each paper perfectly coordinates with my main inspiration paper! I added a title and tone-on-tone sentiments from the Cardstock Stickers. I completed the title with a string of yellow and white bakers twine. Final steps were clusters of Enamel Dots and splatters of white acrylic paint. I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and choose to try Paige's Legendary collection for some of your autumnal layouts this season! Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping!
