The One with I'm Too Tired To Think of a Title

This was my view from the airplane window, because I HAVE to sit by a window, the entire ride. Not above the clouds, not below the clouds, but IN the clouds. Huh.
You know what's a weird and strange sensation? Seeing another airplane fly by as you're in the air. Because you have no frame of reference, except for the ground which doesn't move. At least hopefully it doesn't move. But when another airplane flies by you realize how FAST you're going. And I thought 65mph was fast. By the time you realize what you're seeing, it's gone, leaving a trail of smoke behind. Hence no picture of what I'm talking about.
So as we were driving in stop-and-go-traffic to my aunt and uncle's house, the car stopped working. My Malm was pressing the accelerator and nothing was happening. I turned on the hazards and we turned the car off. In the middle of traffic. And we didn't even get honked at! When we turned the car back on it started working again. Hmm.....
Even with two maps and two GPS enabled phones, we still managed to get lost once. But only once.
We met up with Tess - my best friend from San Jose where I lived until I was 10. I hadn't seen her in over 10 years. The stars seriously aligned for us. She NEVER comes to LA, but her boyfriend just happens to be in a wedding THIS weekend, of all weekends. I think I hear angels singing.
It was great to catch up. I must visit San Jose asap.
We saw some apartments today. The hardest part is finding a place that will accommodate our zoo. But I'm hopeful and we've got lots of prospects.
