Hobonichi Layout by Paula Fiihr

Hello friends! Paula Fiihr glad to be back with you today sharing a hobonichi layout featuring Paige’s new Bloom Street collection. For this post, I used the Grid of Flowers cut file and papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad.

I backed each square with my pics and cards from the 2x2 Paper Pads cut to size and altered a couple of the squares to fit what I picked to put in them. For the bottom right square, I wanted to add some dimension, so it opens to reveal a bit of journaling and is fastened with Washi Tape. Under the flower is a white crepe paper rosette. Before attaching the grid to the paper, I sewed a few spots just to give it some texture. I created a pocket at the top of the grid by glueing all but the middle top square to my page and tucked in a tag which features another picture. Some Floral Die Cuts layered with foam dots add dimension to the two corners. A few word strips from the Cardstock Stickers add a personal touch. Bloom Street is full of cute embellishments, so I used the Enamel Dots and Mixed Embellishments to decorate it a bit. Finally, the word across the bottom of the page is from the Puffy Word Stickers.

Hope you enjoyed this, and if you try it, let me know!
