Magical Smile Layout by Migbell Guzman

Hi everyone! Migbell Guzman here with a new layout that I have created with the Go the Scenic Route collection. I am delighted with this collection, it is truly beautiful. I live on a tropical island in the Caribbean, and as a Caribbean, I love bright colors.
For this design I used white cardstock for the background. Then I chose Paper 9 from the 12x12 Paper Pad. I cut 49 stripes (21) at 5x1". With my scoring board I made marks to fold at 1 ∕ ₄, 11 ∕ ₄, 11 ∕ ₅, I doubled and glued to form a triangle. To correctly position all the triangles, I made two thin lines in the shape of an L, with a pencil to use as a guide. The distance of the lines is 21 ∕ ₅ inches from the edge of the paper to the center. Then I started putting the paper triangles next to each other in different positions.
The size of the photo I chose is 4x4" - I divided it into 16 1-inch parts, and pasted over the triangles so that everything had the same effect. The Paper 9 has a white border around it, and I drew a similar one to use as a frame for my design, pierced and sewn with two-tone embroidery thread: white and lilac. Then I added some ornaments and ephemera from the Go the Scenic Route collection to decorate my page such as Floral Die Cuts and fussy cut images.
Create, have fun, and enjoy! I hope it has inspired you, enjoy, see you soon! Blessings!
