Here is another one of my layouts that was in the Spring 2023 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine which you can download and browse for free HERE! I used my Blooming Wild collection and featured the new Chipboard Alphabet Outlines with Patterned Paper Backing Pieces!
To begin I trimmed off the barcode strip of Paper 23 and used the light pink B-side as my background. I grabbed Chipboard Alphabet Outlines to say BLOOM AND GROW and instead of using the patterned paper backing pieces that come with them I chose to pick a few of my own patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and 12x12 Paper Pad. I used lots of colorful and monochromatic floral papers of course! It's the spring issue afterall!
I glued the patterned papers onto the backs of the chipboard outlines and then attached them with foam squares at an angle onto the layout. Between the words I added a cute photo of Jane. I tucked a ricrac border Cardstock Sticker under the right side of the photo to look like scallops and placed a transparent sentiment from the Sticker Book on white space at the top of the photo.
I wrote journaling with a blue pen on a Journaling Spot and tucked it under the "W". I clustered Floral Die Cuts and floral Cardstock Stickers on the top left and bottom right corners for balance. To finish I embellished some of the letters with floral Chipboard Stickers and bird and butterfly Cardstock Stickers.
