Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here sharing my newest project I created for the Paige Evans Design Team featuring her Lovely Lane collection!
I started with the beautiful Smiles and Laughter Paper as my background. On top of that, I added a piece of white cardstock and machine stitched around the edges to give the page a soft, finished look and extra texture. I then divided the layout into two main sections. On the right side I placed my two black & white photos on top of a Life You Love Paper block, keeping this area simple so the photos could really shine. On the left side, I created a cluster of origami hearts made with different patterned papers. Each heart is hand stitched all the way around and turned into a little pocket. I arranged the hearts in a zigzag pattern, which adds movement and helps balance the layout visually. To finish the page, I added Floral Die Cuts on top of my photos and placed Layered Stickers and Puffy Stickers on top of the hearts for extra detail. As usual, I couldn’t resist tucking a journaling tag inside one of the origami heart pockets. Finally, I added Enamel Dots to bring everything together with a bit of shine. This layout is full of texture, handmade details, and sweet moments - exactly what I love most about memory keeping!
