Hello crafty friends! Rochi Villegas here sharing my newest layout I created for the Paige Evans Design Team featuring her Lovely Lane and Legendary collections.
I documented such a sweet memory of my baby girl - she fell asleep at the table while drawing with a box full of markers and colored pencils right beside her. It’s one of those ordinary moments that instantly becomes unforgettable. I started with Life You Love paper from Lovely Lane as my background to create a warm and delicate base. The florals frame the design beautifully and enhance the tenderness of the photo. To complement the picture, I created three origami crayons using different patterned papers from Legendary. I love how the mix of colors and patterns adds a playful and creative touch that ties in perfectly with the art supplies in the photo. The title “Precious Moments,” is truly the heart of this layout. I hand-stitched the word PRECIOUS to add texture and dimension - the stitching gives it such a cozy, handmade feel. For the word MOMENTS, I used the blue Puffy Alpha Stickers to create contrast and balance in the design. To finish the page, I added a few Rub-Ons and the perfect embellishment from the Ephemera Die Cuts for extra detail without overwhelming the photo. Lastly, I added a little pocket on the right side for hidden journaling. This layout is a celebration of ordinary moments that become extraordinary memories - and that’s what scrapbooking is all about!
