Alaska Cruise & Crop Recap

In July 2026 I taught on my second Cruise & Crop, this time to Alaska, aboard Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas!

I announced the cruise is February 2025 and counted down the days.

On July 24th 2026, 64 scrappy friends boarded the boat and we had 3 classes together - two on the first sea day and one on the second sea day. You can purchase the CLASS PDF HERE which has photos and instructions for creating all the projects we made on the cruise.

We took the first morning flight from Denver to Seattle and brought 4 carry-ons with the most important scrapbook event essentials and checked 4 regular sized suitcases - 3 held clothes and 1 was more scrappy stuff. Everything made it to Seattle thank heavens! We Ubered to the port.

At the port, they let us bring aboard all 4 carry-ons plus the one regular size suitcase and we went straight to the conference room to set up. It also helped that we were literally the 3rd family to board so we had all the time in the world to set up, unlike my previous crafty cruise when we were basically last on the boat and had to wait forever for our suitcases to finish setting up. Lessons learned and it went perfectly this time! Woohoo!

I met the onboard coordinator named Brisa and she so very sweet and EXTREMELY helpful. Let the fun begin!

I brought a small shop and had a 50% off sale towards the end of the cruise. I ended up with 3 empty suitcases hooray! Thank you friends! More space in my basement means more room for new kits and classes!!!

It was another amazing cruise & crop! So happy!
