Hey friends, Inessa Persekian here and today I’m sharing a colorful layout using Paige's Love Blooms Here Cut File and her Crafted Moments collection! I love how this one came together!
I started with the mini floral Create Your Way Paper for my background then layered on white textured cardstock trimmed to 11x11" along with a little border of the navy floral Dream In Color Paper. That little navy border adds just enough contrast to help the layout pop, while also pulling in more of the purple tones from the cut file. I cut the Love Blooms Here Cut File from white cardstock and used papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad to back the letters. But I also wanted to try something a little different. I printed four of my photos at 2x3 and used the photos to back four of the letters instead of patterned paper. I absolutely love how this turned out! It’s such a fun way to work more photos into your layout while still making the cut file the main focus. Before adding the cut file to my background, I added a little pink ink behind it. I simply used a dauber and lightly smudged the ink onto the cardstock in a circular motion. Since I was working with a white cut file on white cardstock, that little bit of color really helped define the cut file and make it stand out from the background. Once everything was layered together, I finished the layout with a mix of Floral Die Cuts, Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers, and colorful Enamel Shapes. I love mixing all of those little embellishments together and sprinkling them around the layout for those final pops of color. I think this layout turned out really, really beautiful, and I especially love the photos tucked right into the cut file! I hope this gives you a new idea for using cut files, especially if you’re looking for a fun way to incorporate more photos into your layouts!
