Here's what we were up to July 2026!
For the 6th year in a row we packed up and flew to Spokane to spend the 4th of July with my entire family in the historic town of Wallace, Idaho! I did a separate full recap about that vacation HERE.
Festive & sparkly new Betsey Johnson 4th of July shoes and nails to match.
Cherry (the female/mom) and Berry (the male/dad) always close by keeping an eye on & feeding their 5 babies.
All five babies flew the nest the 2nd weekend of July while I was teaching at Crafted Moments Weekend. That was the last batch of the year and I'm happy to be done worrying, until next year :)
Fox getting some driving hours in, Jesus take the wheel.
We saw Toy Story 5 in the theater. I didn't like it at all, it made me feel guilty for ever giving Fox & Jane screens.
Before the cruise I traded my 4th of July nails for a French manicure at a new place since Phong was out of town.
I've been obsessed with the Murder With My Husband podcast and replied to one of Payton's stories and she replied back to me :) And yes, we had a black widow INSIDE our house and for some reason I saved it...
While I don't have many photos in this post to document our July, it was so busy and full I did separate posts for everything! The first weekend in July we were in Wallace. The second weekend in July I taught at Crafted Moments Weekend. The third weekend in July I taught my 4th of July Virtual class from home. The fourth and fifth weekends in July we were on the Alaska Cruise! I did a full separate and huge recap of the cruise HERE.
A favorite photo from Skagway, Alaska. Love my 14 & 15 year olds!!

We didn't see our kitties very much in July since we were gone a lot, but of course I did manage to snap a few pics and the pet sitter sent me some.

Lazy girls.
Amy watching the bunnies and squirrelies from the window. | All four appendages in one tight bundle.
Sandy doesn't really love her belly rubbed but how can you not when she does this?! | Sandy snoozing on my papers.
Finishing with scrappy things! I shared (7) 12x12 layouts and two mini albums here on my blog in July! Projects are linked below if you want more details:

The basement has been filled to the brim for months with bins holding schtuff for various scrapbook events including two years of 4th of July kits, Crafted Moments Weekend kits and supplies, and the Cruise & Crop bins! Now that July is over, the basement is empty again which means I can get more stuff for more kits & classes! Thank you so so so much for your support, it means to world to me!
On July 11th & 12th 2026, we taught our 8th in-person event called Crafted Moments Weekend in Thornton, Colorado to about 70 in-person attendees and about 55 virtual scrappers! Scroll through my recap of the event HERE.
The next weekend I taught my 4th of July Virtual class from home and it lasted 5 hours which is a record for me!!
And then the last two weekends in July I taught classes on my second Cruise & Crop! There were 64 scrappy friends who joined in the fun and you can read the recap HERE.
While we were on the cruise, BooVille debuted! You can see it all and many of my plans for upcoming kits/projects/events HERE.
The summer absolutely FLEW by with so many events the past few months! Now it's time to start thinking about the holidays - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!!
