Hi crafty friends! It's Ali Skifton here on Paige’s blog today sharing a bright and cheerful summer layout featuring her Crafted Moments collection and a fun cut file called Sunshine & Summertime.
I chose five different patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad to back the Sunshine & Summertime cut file. I chose colors that complemented the outfits Anne and I were wearing the day we sailed away on our cruise, making the whole page feel extra colorful and coordinated. I used foam tape to pop the title and sun off the page for a little added dimension. I embellished the centers of some of the letters with Metallic Enamel Dots for a touch of sparkle. I added Ephemera Die Cuts, Floral Die Cuts, and Cardstock Stickers around our photo and along the bottom of the page, along with a pretty bunch of flowers Puffy Sticker as a fun accent. For the background, I double-matted the white cardstock on yellow cardstock and then framed the entire page with Beauty Ahead Paper to give the layout that extra pop of color. I love how bright, happy, and summery this page turned out and it makes me smile every time I look at these photos from the start of our cruise! Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your summer!
