The One with Solo in Washington Day 7

It was a lazy Monday.

Even Tip Toe the cat and Gypsy the dog were chillaxing.

It was raining outside (insert stunned face here - not! :) ) - that probably had something to do with our sluggish behavior.

Fox took a much needed nap from 11-2 during which Allie and I blogged and Jane hung out between us.

My mom watched Halloween on the computer - the entire thing is on YouTube, score!

Once Fox woke up we headed downtown to get Fox some french fries and then get bagels at my favorite little bagel store - Mikie's.
Photobucket
So many things wrong about this photo - bottle / pacifier / french fries / eating french fries off the table / candy... Vacations are hard enough as it is, so anything goes...

Jane in her carseat by my feet while I ate. She's such a good baby.

After lunch we went to Target to get a few things. Often my kids are right beside me so I don't really get to see them from "afar". As Allie was holding Fox's hand walking into the store my heart did a little flip-flop - he looked so cute and miniature!

In the evening my mom challenged me to a plank-off. I don't know how long we were planking, probably less than a minute, but the entire time I kept repeating to myself "You've given birth naturally, you can do this whimpy plank pose for as long as it takes to win."

And I did :)

  1. I feel the same way when I see Isabel from afar. From day to day, she seems so grown up, but in reality, she's so tiny still. Oh, and there's a package coming your way any day now :)
