Pumpkin Art Journal Page by Paula Fiihr

Hello and happy October! Paula Fiihr here and today is all about pumpkins 🎃This Pumpkin cut file from Paige is my absolute favorite - and it was perfect for this layout.

I cut the Pumpkin from Paper 7 and then used the back side to fill in two of the pumpkin pieces. Before glueing it down, I used Paige’s Polka Dots Stencil with Distress Oxides as a quick background. I then added some green messy embroidery floss above the pumpkin just for fun! The rest of the page came together really quickly. The photo of my family with their pumpkins from last year was sewed onto a bit of paper and made into a pocket. Two pieces of Ephemera Die Cuts made nice little tags to slip inside for journaling. I clustered a piece of a ticket and a tab from the Ephemera Die Cuts, a flower, and a circle punch up top. The Floral Die Cuts throughout the page look so great with the pumpkin I think! The words are from the Puffy Phrase Thickers and fit both the picture and my art journal page. It is important to play a little everyday! I finished the page off with some Washi Tape and a few random drops of white acrylic paint.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
