Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige's Lovely Lane collection and her Heart Sunburst cut file. Several of Paige’s past Design Team members have used this gorgeous cut file, and I absolutely loved the way Migbell Guzman added sequins to her heart, so I re-created that idea on my layout.
I started by cutting the Heart Sunburst twice, once from the Beautiful Journey Paper and another time from the Love Blooms Paper. I arranged the floral paper on top of the pink paper, slightly offsetting it so that the pink paper peeked out from underneath. I adhered the two papers together using foam tape and then stuck them onto a white cardstock background. Next I pierced holes along the edge of the cut file (in the negative space) as well as in the center of the cut file. This allowed me to string purple embroidery floss, adorned with sequins, in the spaces of the cut file design. I matted my photo with purple and navy cardstock and then added it to the center of the heart. I fussy cut lots of flowers from the Love Blooms Paper and used them, along with Floral Die Cuts, to embellish around my photo. Lastly, I cut a strip off the bottom of the page and added a piece of the Full of Love Paper and a scalloped border from the Happiness is Homemade Paper to the bottom of the layout. I added a heart sticker from the Layered Stickers and some sentiments from the Cardstock Stickers to finish off the page.
