Hi creative friends! Monique Lowe here and I’m so happy to be sharing a brand new layout featuring Paige’s lovely Lovely Lane collection. This page documents some funny little snaps of me and my kids from Mother’s Day - those perfectly imperfect moments always make me smile!
I started with a sheet of the pretty Life You Love Paper for my background. Then I took three small 2x3” black & white photos and backed them together in a vertical strip using two papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I used foam squares to stick them down, off-center, adding a bit of dimension right away. Next, I reached for the Floral Die Cuts and selected a few pieces that coordinated with the colors in the background. I tucked these around my photos in a loose vertical design. To balance the page, I added two more floral clusters, using the lines in the background as a guide to anchor them. I cut small slits into the paper so I could easily tuck them in, letting them peek out from behind the lines for extra interest. Then I added some text elements and a sweet little butterfly to the clusters using Chipboard Stickers and Puffy Stickers. To finish off each cluster, I included a few heart Enamel Dots for a touch of shine. Finally, I added some hand stitching to the centers of the florals closest to my photos and created a title using the Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers.
