Hi! Jackie Ashton here sharing a layout made using Paige's Lovely Lane collection with Pinkfresh Studio. This page was such a joy to create, especially because it captures a beautiful spring day spent with friends.
The photo I chose is a 3x4" snapshot of us out shopping and enjoying lunch together while celebrating a birthday - one of those simple but meaningful days you always want to remember. I started with a clean white cardstock background to keep everything feeling fresh and light. To build the design, I added torn strips of paper from the 12x12 Paper Pack down the center of the page. Tearing the edges and rolling them back rather than cutting them gave the layout a softer, more organic feel, which worked perfectly with the relaxed, happy vibe of the photo. Next, I began embellishing with Floral Die Cuts. Since the day we captured felt very much like Spring, adding flowers across the page helped reinforce that seasonal feel. I clustered the flowers around the photo and along the paper strips to give the page some dimension. For the title, I used the gorgeous gold Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers. They add just the right amount of shine without overwhelming the layout and they tie in beautifully with the soft colors of the collection. I kept the title simple to let the photo and florals take center stage. To finish everything off, I scattered a few Enamel Dots and Rub-Ons around the page. These little details help balance the design and add pops of color in just the right places. This layout came together so naturally and perfectly captures a special day filled with laughter, friendship, and sunshine!
