Hi friends! Inessa Persekian here an for this layout I was so inspired by the papers and the comfy looking chair in the Lovely Lane Puffy Stickers that I decided to create a layout that feels like walking into your grandma’s house. That cozy & warm feeling was my goal from the start.
I began the page by building my design around the frames from the Chipboard Stickers. I loved the idea of turning them into a gallery wall, just like you might see in a cozy living room filled with family photos and memories. Once the gallery wall was in place, I started creating the “room.” I used the 12x12 Papers to design a chair rail with wallpaper on the bottom portion of the page. This little detail instantly gave the layout the feeling of a real room and made the gallery wall feel right at home. The chair from the Puffy Stickers was such a fun detail that I decided to take it a step further. I hand-drew an enlarged version of the chair and added it to the layout to create the focal point of the room. Then I created a small table with an actual lace tablecloth and added details like books, tea, and a plant - all the little touches that remind me of things you might find at grandma’s house. These layered elements bring the story to life and make the layout feel warm and inviting. This page was such a fun mix of creativity, layering, and storytelling. I love when a layout turns into a little scene, and the Lovely Lane collection made it so easy with its sweet colors and charming details. I hope this project inspires you to look at your supplies in a new way and maybe even build a little “room” on your next layout!
